Check out my video reel to see me doing some adrenaline pumping activities!

On October 18, 2006 my whole life changed. I suffered a severe brain hemorrhage that left me at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary five months. Afterwards, I faced a year at an intensive rehabilitation facility in a central Alberta town called Ponoka. I was surprised to learn that, although I was as healthy as they come before this happened, I had an arteriovenous malformation. Although it was congenital in nature, I had no way of knowing it was there. Before the accident, I was an avid skier doing everything from back-country to cross-country, ice and rock climbing, canyoning, mountain biking and much more.

Although I have had to make some adjustments in the way I participate, I still enjoy things like adaptive climbing, skiing, sailing, hiking, power wheelchair hockey and I will do more. I'm a new "adrenaline junkie" and I find myself in new sports like skydiving, rappelling high-rise buildings, rafting and whitewater kayaking...
